Mobile UX

— HYPR Mobile App Redesign.

End-to-end redesign of an authentication app for both iOS and Android.

Overview

HYPR provides passwordless authentication for enterprises and their employees. The original HYPR app was one built on legacy architecture as a demo-able MVP. As the company rapidly grew and, moreover, due to resourcing constraints, the app was continuously added onto and expanded beyond its original designed and engineered capability. Additionally, the app became split in two — one home screen for workstation login and another for web/SSO login. There was no unified experience, and many of the app's features had never been user-tested before being pushed live. This resulted in poor end-user adoption for customers and contributed to churn as a result of helpdesk and IT support teams being overloaded with tickets. As such, this redesign set out to reduce user friction, drive adoption with in-app onboarding, and provide a seamless mobile experience as part of the HYPR platform.
